“Retail as a Service” – BRICKSPACES opens Christmas Pop Up Store in Düsseldorf with 20 brands and completely new possibilities

Düsseldorf, 30.11.2018. Just in time for Christmas, the Kö-Bogen gets a new tenant: BRICKSPACES. The young start-up has developed a new retail concept which enables brands to enter the retail trade as easily as possible at the time of the year with the highest sales – and this in the absolute A location alongside Apple, Tesla and Breuninger! BRICKSPACES not only provides the brands with the space within the space (“space-in-space”), but also implements the lifestyle-oriented space concept, recruits its own pop-up sellers and solves payment and store analytics. From 1 to 24 December 2018, the state capital expects an absolutely new shopping experience.

20 brands make the pop-up mix

An exclusive brand mix of 20 brands will inspire visitors to the Kö-Bogen for gift shopping. BRICKSPACES reveals the first brands: startups such as Stryve (known for “The Lion’s Cave” with its Towell+), The Botanical (natural cosmetics), mymuesli and UNU (electric scooters), as well as renowned companies such as Lamy (ballpoint pens) and AEG (household appliances).

“The absolute A location, the Christmas season and the concept theme “New Life” are a perfect constellation for the brands that we are curating here in a new way. With the variety of products, an urban space staging, food & drinks and workshops on trend themes, we are transforming the sales area into a new dimension of shopping experience,” says Martin Bressem, responsible for BRICKSPACES and BitStone Capital. “The difference to many other sales and pop-up areas is that we focus holistically on our New Life concept for the customer experience – with the focus on innovation, quality and coolness factor,” says Bressem.

Suddenly Pop Up

BRICKSPACES’ vision is to bring a breath of fresh air into the shopping streets with “Pop Up” and to make shopping in the “offline world” cool again. This not only has a positive effect for the customers, but also for the brands that work with BRICKSPACES. For the start-up company from Düsseldorf, Pop Up is the future of outdoor advertising: accessible and experienceable with all the senses. And BRICKSPACES’ future-oriented business approach is to offer the all-round carefree package: From the space to the room concept and employee recruiting to the payment solution and frequency measurement. “We are the first to offer “Retail as a Service” in this form,” explains Bressem. Further seasonal multi-brand stores throughout Germany are planned for 2019.
