Financing round: PropTech company Inreal Technologies raises six-figure amount

Cologne/Karlsruhe, February 20, 2018 – PropTech Inreal Technologies has completed a financing round. The international investor BitStone Capital and Dr. Emilio Matthaei, founder of the tech service provider Leverton, jointly invest a mid-six-figure amount in the company specializing in virtual reality. With the new capital and the strategic partnership with BitStone, Inreal will further develop its software solutions, expand existing sales channels, strengthen marketing activities and thus prepare for expansion in Europe and especially in the USA.

Based in Karlsruhe, Germany, PropTech offers virtual real-time inspections of office and residential properties. This enables project developers and property developers to guide potential buyers through the properties on their computers or screens even before new office or residential properties are built. With the help of high-resolution, realistic 3D simulations, sales processes can be designed much more efficiently. Inreal is already one of the leading providers of virtual reality in Germany. At the end of 2017, CEO Enrico Kürtös announced the expansion into the USA.

Experienced industry experts support growth plans

“We are firmly convinced that virtual inspections will be standard in real estate marketing in a few years’ time. We want to exploit this potential and become the world’s leading provider of virtual reality in the real estate industry by 2021,” says Enrico Kürtös. “Of course, the path to market leadership is a challenge. That is why we are all the more pleased that with BitStone and Dr. Emilio Matthaei, very experienced industry experts support us with their know-how”.

BitStone Managing Director Kai Panitzki says: “With Inreal, we are acquiring a stake in a company that is extremely enriching the real estate industry and is taking it into the digital age through virtual reality. Coupled with our competencies as strategic partners, we expect a successful future for Inreal and look forward to working with the highly motivated Inreal team around Enrico Kürtös”.

Manfred Heid, Partner at BitStone and responsible for investments, was responsible for the preparation of the investment. Heid adds: “The investment in Inreal with its trend-setting vision of a digital real estate industry underlines our claim to provide a new start in the digitalization of tangible assets – Real Asset Technology.
